The family event provided an opportunity for employees to show their families where they work every day. The pride was clearly visible and more than 1,000 participants were attending the event. A children’s program was offered, and production areas, workshops and training facilities were open to visit. Departments presented their work and explained processes in the context of daily operations. The interaction between functions and their role within the overall process became clear. |
| In the evening, the “Night of Companies” opened the site to external visitors. The event was part of the city’s 1200-year anniversary, during which local companies opened facilities that are not normally accessible to the public. Site tours, live demonstrations and access to engineering-related areas provided insight into how production and engineering are connected. Visitors could follow key steps along the value chain – from component manufacturing and casting to assembly and application context. This made the underlying processes and interfaces directly tangible. | ![]()

The day showed how work is being done at the Radolfzell site. Processes, responsibilities and interfaces became visible in their actual operating context. The day featured live music from local bands and was a great occasion for celebration. We are grateful for the day and for everyone who made it so memorable.
