IMO Biofuel Upgrade Kit

In response to the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions and evolving fuel standards, we are introducing a comprehensive upgrade for our IMO Low Pressure FuelLine pumps. Effective October 1, 2025, all new orders for the affected pump types will be equipped with enhanced sealing materials, enabling operation with up to 100% biofuels – including FAME-based blends and HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), in accordance with ISO 8217:2024. For pumps already installed from the latest product generation, the new G053 Minor Kit offers a straightforward retrofit solution. It includes all necessary components to ensure biofuel compatibility, with no changes to pump designation codes or part numbers. Magnetic coupling versions (OptiLine) are generally suitable for biofuel operation and do not require modifications. |
- Extended application range for existing IMO pumps in biofuel environments
- Clear spare parts structure: Biofuel-ready kits are directly mapped to conventional kits
- Simple ordering: Upgrade kits can be requested by serial number with a note “Biofuel ready”
To support this rollout, updated documentation and spare parts price lists will be available by the launch date. A detailed list of compatible kits and shaft seals is included in the official product information. The spare parts as per current Spare parts book (2025.01) will remain available until further notice
